Yorkton Sno-Riders - About The Club

About Us

Formed in 1990 by a handful of local snowmobile enthusiasts, the Yorkton Sno-Riders Club has grown to become a group of which any city can be proud. These founding members all shared a desire to create a strong family-oriented club which would work for the betterment of snowmobiling. In 2001, the Sno-Riders welcomed the membership of the former Fishing Lake Snowmobile Club to our family. This expanded our boundaries to the Foam Lake, Invermay, Wadena areas.

The Yorkton Sno-Riders, Club #327, is a proud member of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association and support their on going efforts to promote and provide a strong voice for snowmobiling in our province.

The Sno-Riders can now boast of having developed over 500 kilometers of groomed snowmobile trails and has increased its membership base to over 100 families and individuals. Our non-profit, volunteer based club has also assisted in organizing the annual Snowarama for Easter Seals, operated numerous club and public snowmobile events and promoted training and safety. The solid commitment of the club members is clearly displayed by our trail groomer fleet consisting of 3 groomers – valued at over $200,000.00 and 1 full time and 2 part time operators. In addition to maintaining our trail system, our fleet assists several of the surrounding clubs with custom grooming.

The 12 warm-up shelters we maintain throughout our trail system ensure you are never far from a place to warm up or enjoy a trail lunch.
